"The Way It Is"
The making of this video was fun. Recorded in one day at various locations. Originals in Oakland. Mount Washington and Earl The Pearls in Homewood. On this cold New Years Day of 2009, Pedro was recording and filming his latest single release "The Way It Is", produced by Bruce Formosa. The video was filmed and directed by Tuff Beats multimedia.
Video production began at 12 noon. The video shoot did not end until 4:00 a.m. Everyone was energized and up tempo. This video was more like a party on wheels. we had poppin, shakin and jumpin at the same time! The next day at 9:00 a.m. we began to edit the video, that was completed in several hours. Everyone played their position to make this video less stressful and a lot of fun.
Our last stop for the night was Originals in Oakland. It was so cold outside, no one in the city was out. We had the city to ourselves and we took advantage of that opportunity. On the University Of Pittsburgh campus we held it down, drinking Corona's with chicken and fries. The staff was way too cool and they treated us well.
Prior to arriving at Originals, we had to bust it up on Mount Washington. Everybody has to get a shot of the skyline. The Best part about this shoot is that no one was outside. We played the track and acted like fools.
