Pedro is a serious entertainer. An official street author with street credibilty and experiences to share with the world. Pedro appeals to all hood soldiers on your local block. His story begins in the city of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Homewood the first original Crip set on the East coast, is where Pedro grew up and became an original gangster. During his years of struggle and surviving he maintained his skills as a song writer. Whether at home or in a jail cell Pedro stayed strong and focused on his goal. His goal was to complete a solo album and get out of the street life to tour the world. Pedro earned music fans in Baltimore Maryland, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and during his incarceration. Supporters of his talent have told Pedro numerous times, that when he gets out of jail to persue his dream and represent the city of Pittsburgh.
When Pedro was released from jail he immediately hooked up with music producer Maze "The Musical Professor" and recorded the first two songs of his album. "Bitches And Money, and "Stacks On My Table at the Phunk Junction recording studio, in conjunction with Tuff Beats studios. Pedro's debut single "Day To Day" is on sale now. Day To Day will be the anthem for the summer of 09. Critics are calling Day To Day a classic in the making.
Pedro's upcoming album titled Super Swagg, is acclaimed as one of the best CD's to be released from Pittsburgh according to underground resources. Pedro Keeps it real with himself and has never fabricated the funk. His voice captivates his audience and keeps the listener wanting to hear the next song. There are songs that will make you cry and songs to make you think. His message in his music is as real as the life that he leads.
Pedro is featured on Joe Beast's "Constipated Joe", "Chop and Twist", and Poetinternational.com's compilation CD. You can also check out Pedro on Phunk Junctions recordings at www.phunkjunction.com. Pedro has recordings with hood legend Little Brucey also from Homewood scheduled to be released in Febuary of 09.
Pedro is hard at work on his upcoming videos and follow up albums and mix CD's. A tour is schduled sometime to begin in 2009 kicking off in Baltimore Maryland.
